London is bustling with modern day life, but you’re also surrounded by history. Creative geniuses from around the world come to south London to express themselves. The world-famous Tate Modern gallery holds over 100 years of art and is just a 15-minute walk away or hop on a tube to the West End to see a play or musical in one of 40 iconic theatres.
There’s so much to love in the capital. Walk to the tallest building in Europe in the time it takes the elevator to reach the top; walk over Tower Bridge in the sunshine; see the oldest prison in the country – and that’s just before lunch. Everything you could want to see is at your fingertips.
The diversity that surrounds us means you can have it all. Use it as inspiration. South London is home to 2.8 million people, each of them with a story as unique as yours. We’re centred around careers, as well as our central location, and our industry connections and student-led community schemes will help you achieve your goals. Going to university isn’t just about the degree you leave with. It’s the experience you gain, and the friends and lecturers who guide you along the way.
London is vibrant and busy but there’s tons of green spaces too with famous parks, natural landscapes, and hidden gems where you exercise and relax.
