LSBU Active has excellent facilities to meet all of your fitness, sports education and development needsFitness Suite
Our Fitness Suite equipped with over 50 cardio and resistance exercise/Free Weight stations equipped with Technogym Mywellness Technology, so you can monitor your personal performance and keep up with your fitness goals.
Our changing rooms have everything you need including showers, lockers and hair driers. We also have individual gender neutral and accessible changing rooms.
Inclusive Fitness Initiative registered
LSBU Active provides accessible facilities and has 'Registered' status in the Inclusive Fitness Initative (IFI) programme. We continuously work with the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) to ensure disabled people can enjoy the benefits of physical activity.
Sports Hall
This 4 badminton court Sports Hall is available to hire for Badminton, 5-a-side football, volleyball, basketball, netball, futsal, handball and dodgeball.
Studio 1
This sophisticated facility is spacious with mirrors, air conditioning and an integrated music system. It accommodates a number of activities including:
- Dance and exercise classes
- Martial arts
- Relaxation classes
- Workshops and training courses
Treatment Room
We have a treatment room with treatment couch, sink and storage, suitable for various sports and holistic therapies.
Consultation Room
The consultation room can be used as a private meeting room with a capacity of 4 people. Equipped with WiFi and meeting table and chairs.
LSBU Active Sports Centre (and all facility spaces) Opening days and times:
- Monday to Friday: 7am to10pm
- Saturday to Sunday: 10am to 6pm
- Bank Holiday: 10am to 4pm
