Our Biomedical Science courses prepare you for a career in fields such as health and wellbeing, biomedical research and pharmaceuticals. Taught by academics with a wealth of research and experience, we ensure that you develop the fundamental knowledge of scientific processes and procedures, current
scientific research and innovation, and up-to-the-minute laboratory techniques alongside your chosen specialism.
You will study in our specialist facilities; we have recently invested £1 million in our science laboratories, and you will have the opportunity to take the practical skills learnt on your course and apply these to the real-world by undertaking an industrial placement.
