On your UCAS application for an Business Management course you will need to choose which LSBU campus you wish to study at: Southwark or Croydon.
LSBU is located in Elephant & Castle, the heart of London with access to everything the city has to offer, including strong partnerships with the industries that surround us. To study at our Southwark campus please put an S on your UCAS application.
LSBU Croydon is our new campus opening in September 2021 with a mission to transform lives and communities. One of the most exciting parts of this course is the opportunity to undertake a one year work-placement in your third year.
Year-long placements enable you to evidence your theoretical knowledge is applied to the world of work. You will develop your soft, transferable and IT skills, which will increase your employability at the end of your degree and set you apart from other graduates.
The course team work closely with our Business School Careers and Employability Team to ensure you are placed in suitable working environments. You'll be given guidance and assistance with respect to finding a placement, CV preparation and the application process. Most placements are available within the London area.
Students have completed placements in a variety of organisations, including the NHS and Nissan, as well as working for smaller businesses across the capital in the digital, commercial and marketing sectors.
Or, if you have an idea for a new business you’d like to work on, you can spend your placement year developing this in our Enterprise Centre.
