Facilities

The LSBU Business School provides students with excellent facilities across both our Southwark and Croydon campuses. Our teaching and learning spaces are both contemporary and flexible and can be used for everything from large meetings to informal get-togethers. Access

Our campus buildings are flat with lifts for different floor access. Classrooms and teaching spaces offer flexible and accessible layouts for all students

Digital Resources

We use the following software and applications to enhance applied learning and practice across our Marketing, Tourism, Events and Hospitality courses.

Edmundo is a Business Management simulation software used across our modules from sustainable business management to online tour operations, this software supports students in putting theory into practice.

Eventbrite is a leading event management, registration, and ticketing platform, supporting event marketing, sales, customer journey and event delivery. Students studying our events management pathway, will put their skills into practice, using Eventbrite when working on live case studies and practice scenarios.

Hootsuiteis a social media scheduling and management platform. Which supports real time insights and data analysis of campaign impacts and outcomes. Used within our marketing modules, students gain training and expertise in the use of Hootsuite and other marketing platforms, preparing them for the workplace.

Mailchimp is an all-in-one marketing, automation & email marketing platform. Students studying on our marketing modules will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with features such as Mailchimp’s CRM platform to complete seminar tasks and activities.

Mimic Social is a social media marketing simulation, used within our marketing modules. These simulations are designed to give students an all-round experience with marketing platform specific strategy and management.

NVIVO is a qualitative data analysis (QDA) computer software package designed for qualitative researchers working with very rich text-based and/or multimedia information, where deep levels of analysis on small or large volumes of data is required. It is used widely in academia and industry.

One Plan is an event design, mapping, and collaboration software, developed by event experts from across the events industry sectors. Students studying our events management modules will have the opportunity to put theory into practice, using One Plan to support the design of unique event experiences.

SPSSsoftware is an industry-strength software package for the statistical analysis of data. It is used by market researchers, health researchers, survey companies, government, education researchers, marketing organisations and academia.

Professional Centres 

The Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation at our Southwark campus, is available to all our students. It offers facilities for workshops, presentations and meetings, as well as business advice and mentoring. It is also a permanent home to the University's Enterprise and Central Research Teams.

The Business Solutions Centre delivered at both our Southwark Campus and Croydon Campus, offers free drop-in service for local businesses run by a trained team of student advisors and University professional and academic staff to help with business advise such as; small business accounting, marketing, social media and IT solutions.
