The Division of Human Sciences brings together the dynamic areas of Bioscience, Forensic Science and Sports Science. Modern laboratories

The University's purpose-built biochemistry laboratory is equipped with facilities for carrying out a wide range of chemical and biological tests. Our forensic laboratories feature the latest analytical equipment, including electron microscopy and inductively-coupled plasma spectrometry - ICPMS. Students can also carry out detailed DNA testing – the strong links we have with the London Fire Brigade provide analysis opportunities in many real-world situations.
