LSBU appoints new Pro Chancellor and Vice Chair of Board of Governors
London South Bank University has appointed Douglas Denham St Pinnock as Vice Chair of the University’s Board of Governors and Pro ChancellorLondon South Bank University (LSBU) has appointed Douglas Denham St Pinnock as Vice Chair of the University’s Board of Governors and Pro Chancellor.
In the role of Pro Chancellor, Douglas' responsibility will be to assist both the Chancellor and his counterpart, the second Pro Chancellor, in undertaking ceremonial duties at student graduation ceremonies.
Douglas first became a governor of LSBU in February 2012 and his new term as Chair of the Board of Governors is set to run until 2020.
Responding to news of his appointment as Vice Chair and Pro Chancellor, Mr Pinnock said: “I am delighted to hear that I have been appointed as Pro Chancellor and Vice Chair of the Board of Governors at LSBU. I hope that I can bring my considerable skills and experience to the role, providing guidance to the University’s Chancellor when required.”
