Daniyal Naseer, BA Hons Business Management

Why did you choose to study Business Management?
I chose Business Management because of the wide range of skills and career pathways it offers. The transferable skills I've gained open doors across industries, giving me flexibility and more opportunities after graduation.
As an international student, why did you choose LSBU?
London’s diversity and abundance of opportunities made it the perfect place for my higher education, and I wanted a university that reflected those values. LSBU stood out for its strong rankings—such as being 3rd in the world for reducing inequalities—its great value for money, and its prime location in the heart of London. All these factors made my decision easy, and I’ve been more than satisfied ever since.
How is LSBU preparing you for your career?
Since joining LSBU, I’ve met incredible people, visited inspiring places, and had invaluable support in securing internships, placements, and graduate roles. In my first year, when I felt a bit lost, the Careers Hub team provided guidance that helped me craft my first job application, setting me on the right track.
What advice would you give to anyone considering Business Management?
I highly recommend Business Management, especially for those unsure about their career path. This degree opens doors across industries, providing versatility and plenty of opportunities for success.
Favourite memory at LSBU so far?
I’ve made so many great memories at LSBU, but one that stands out is the first day of semester two in my second year. Reuniting with friends from the Freshers event was already special, but that day was unforgettable—we had a break between lectures, and since the weather was perfect, we took a walk to Tower Bridge, arriving just in time to see it open. A truly memorable moment.
What are your plans after graduation?
Once I graduate, I aim to secure a management role, applying the skills I’ve developed over the past three years to build a successful career and thrive in whatever industry I choose.
