Partnership in Social Care at a time of cuts
The project aims to creative approaches and practical solutions during a time of financial cuts to servicesThis is a service-user led project and was developed as part of a student-led and service-user led conference 'Partnership in Social Care at a time of cuts: creative approaches and practical solutions', in March 2012.
Working in partnership over the last year, how financial cuts and any subsequent change to services and partnership working have affected service users.
Service users are working collaboratively with LSBU academic Markella Boudioni from the inception, research design, analysis and report writing.
Research training
A qualitative design, utilising in-depth interviews is being used. Service users received research training in design, conducting interviews and analysis.
This project commenced in 2012 and will be completed in 2013. It has been carried out by academics from our School of Health and Social Care who are carrying out research under the theme of Health and Social Care Delivery.
The funding body for this project is the Social Work Social Enterprise funding.
