Yes, LSBU will supply you with uniforms for your placement with the exception of Social Work students who are not required to wear uniforms for their placements.
Many students say getting their uniform is the most exciting part of starting at LSBU, as the uniform makes it all seem real. It’s totally natural to feel strong emotions at this stage, from pride through to nerves.
Most placements, and some practical sessions in our skills laboratories, will require you to wear a uniform and name badge. Following student feedback, we have moved to an online service. This provides you with the opportunity to measure for your work garments in the privacy of your own home.
We provide a video and helpful instructions to further support students. We do remind all students that it is important they measure for a work garment. One that allows you to move easily, stretch and be comfortable. In the meantime, we have prepared answers to frequently asked questions that you might find useful.
If you have any queries about uniforms, please email us at universities@workinstyle.com.
