Undergraduate course requirements
To apply for an undergraduate course at LSBU you need to have one of the following:
Australian Capital Territory
- ACT Year 12 Certificate when 120 points have been accrued completing three major T courses and one minor T course
- (pre 1998) Tertiary Entrance Statement with a satisfactory result
- (post 1998) University Admissions Index with a satisfactory result
New South Wales
- Higher School Certificate with a satisfactory result
- (pre 1998) Tertiary Entrance Rank with a satisfactory result
- (post 1998) University Admissions Index with a satisfactory result
Northern Territory
- (pre 1995) South Australian Certificate of Education with a satisfactory result
- (post 1995) Northern Territory Certificate of Education with at least a C or 11/20
Queensland
- an Overall Position between 1 and 21 with a Tertiary Entrance Statement between 1 and 10
- Queensland Senior Certificate (when considered with the TER and OP as above)
South Australia
- (pre 1993) Year 12 Certificate of Achievement with a minimum of a C or 11/20
- (post 1993) South Australian Certificate of Education with a minimum of a C or 11/20
- Tertiary Entrance Rank with a satisfactory result
Tasmania
- (pre 1990) Higher School Certificate with a satisfactory result
- (post 1990) Tasmanian Certificate of Education with a minimum of 8/20
- Tertiary Entrance Rank with a satisfactory result
Victoria
- (pre 1993) Tertiary Entrance Score with a satisfactory result
- (post 1992) Victorian Certificate of Education – minimum of 5 acceptable unit 3 and unit 4 subjects with at least B in three and C in two, in conjunction with the Equivalent National Tertiary Entrance Rank (ENTER) score
- Victorian ENTER satisfactory score
Western Australia
- (post 1998) Tertiary Entrance Rank with a satisfactory result
- Tertiary Entrance Score with a satisfactory result
- Western Australian Certificate of Education with a minimum of a C, Sound Achievement

Postgraduate course requirements
To apply for a postgraduate course at LSBU you need one of the following:
- Bachelor Degree (Hons) with a minimum of a Credit result or a Second Class Lower Division
Bachelor degrees which are not Honours degrees will be considered on an individual basis.

How to apply
The process to apply for a course varies to whether you study as an undergraduate or postgraduate student. You should also find out how to apply for any available scholarships.
Visa information
As an Australian national you will need to obtain a student visa or equivalent to be able to study with us at LSBU. The main route for students to come to the UK to study is the General student visa.
