Aaron is an Alumnus of LSBU graduating in 2023 with a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering and staying until the end of the year as a research intern studying the material behaviour of concrete using recycled and substitute materials and later joining the Technical Services team in February 2025.
His primary role is as civil engineering technician where my main expertise is in the preparation and testing of concrete.
Aaron also works on a variety of different materials such as steel and timber.
Support Technician for other civil engineering and Engineering related fields such as Strength of Materials and Highways Engineering.
Main responsibilities include being the technical operator for equipment in my labs such as our 2000KN compression machine and 500KN reaction frame and all equipment used to produce concrete.
Assist and advise in all student and research projects relating to my area of work.
