Student Governor
He is a student leader and engineering professional with strong experience in governance, advocacy, and strategic representation. A First Class Mechanical Engineering graduate from LSBU, he has held key Students’ Union roles, including Vice President of Welfare & Equalities and now President.
As Vice President, he helped establish two new prayer spaces, led a major wellbeing campaignreaching over 1,500 students, and delivered LSBSU’s largest faith provision survey to inform senior committees. As President, he oversees Union governance and budgets, collaborates with University leadership to enhance student experience, and is leading a student-created Placement Top Tips Handbook for the College of Health and Life Sciences.
In his role as Student Governor, he supports decisions on financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and long-term strategy, with a strong focus on digital innovation and student experience. His professional background includes engineering and operations work at UTAC UK. He is committed to strengthening student voice and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all LSBU students.
