The list of Bloomberg Best Employers recognises the 400
best employers in the UK which have over 500 members of staff. It is drawn from an independent
survey of 15,000 employees from all industry sectors, who were consulted regarding their willingness to recommend their employer to others.
ranked as the 206thbest employer in the country, and 20th
best employer in the category of education. Other companies to make the list
include Dyson, the BBC, British Airways, Oxfam and Unilever.
Best Employer award follows the University’s accreditation as a London Living
Wage employer and its membership of the Equality Challenge Unit’s Athena SWAN
programme. LSBU is also a Stonewall Diversity Champion, which recognises LSBU
as one of the best places to work in higher education for lesbian, gay, bisexual
and trans people.
