You told us you’re anxious about joining University. Feeling anxious about something new is completely expected, but we’ll help you make the transition to higher education.
We often hear students are nervous about making friends, not sure where to go on their first day, or sometimes they’re worried exams will be difficult, but however you feel, we’re here to support you.
Summer Social
You can attend our Summer Social event in August (we’ll send details nearer the time). Here, you’ll not only meet loads of new people but can talk to lecturers and staff about how you’re feeling or ask any questions you have.
Visit us
If you wanted to get ahead or visit us before you start, that’s super easy as well. You can book on a campus tour or come in to see and even use our library too and start to familiarise yourself with our campus.
Wellbeing support
Your wellbeing is our top priority, and we want to make sure you're feeling as prepared as you can. If you think you may need support from us, you can email us at studentwellbeing@lsbu.ac.uk to discuss the options available and set up a support plan.
