Enrolment

Enrolment is the online process through which you officially become an LSBU student

Use the checklist below to as a guideline to help you complete each step of your enrolment. Some tasks may vary depending on your course or circumstances, so be sure to complete everything that applies to you before teaching begins.

If you aren’t self-funding your course, you’ll need to apply for student finance. This is how you pay for your tuition fees, and home students may also be entitled to help with covering living costs. Find out more about fees and funding.

Start your preparations to come to the UK as soon as your place is confirmed. For courses lasting more than six months, you will need a Student visaFind out how to obtain a visa here.

It's important that we have your up-to-date email address, so we can send you information on how to enrol.

  • If you applied through UCAS, you must update your details with them directly, which will then update our records.
  • If you applied in any other way, please let our Admissions team know, use this enquiry form and select the topic ‘My Application’.

All new students will need to enrol online. Enrolment is the online process through which you officially become an LSBU student. When you enrol, you'll upload your identification documents to confirm your right to study in the UK and confirm how you're paying for your course.

Once you've got your academic qualifications and satisfied all our entry requirements, you will receive an email from enrol@lsbu.ac.uk with your personal link to the online enrolment portal.

This invitation will be sent to the email address on your record, so make sure we have your up-to-date details. It's also worth adding enrol@lsbu.ac.uk to your address book, and occasionally checking your spam/junk folders, just in case.

Please note: enrolment invitation emails are sent out in batches, so not everyone will receive them at the same time.

After you’ve enrolled online, you may be asked to complete your enrolment in person on campus. All applicants with a non-UK passport will need to come in for a face-to-face enrolment session. We will email you to let you know if you need to come in to complete your enrolment in person.

If you want to stay on campus while you study you can read more about our University residences and apply for accommodation online.

We’ll let you know when your ID card is ready to collect and where to pick it up from. All you’ll need to do is bring your passport and the temporary ID document we email to you to campus to collect your card.

Download the myLSBU, the hub of information for LSBU students. You will need the app to check in to your classes once they start and once you’ve fully enrolled, you’ll be able to access your personalised induction timetable.
