The Public Health Practitioner Programme

The Public Health Practitioner Programme (PHPP) is a pilot practitioner development scheme that aims to support public health practitioners (PHPs) to achieve registration on the UK Public Health Register (UKPHR).
Competence
Competence is assessed through skills and knowledge, professional and ethical practice, technical competence, and the application of public health (PH) competence.
The project commenced in 2013 and is due to complete in 2013. It has been carried out by academics from our School of Health and Social Care who are carrying out research under the theme of Workforce Innovation, Development and Education.
