As the University is set just south of the River Thames, we are perfectly located to access London's 'Theatreland'. A 10-15 minute walk from campus and you can find yourself in the heart of culture on the South Bank. Our students can immerse themselves in the best of London's plays, performances, exhibitions
and screenings which enriches their studies as well as their social lives.
What do I love about London? It's the classic answer I suppose – the million different things you can do here. There's an activity or something interesting going on every hour of the day. My favourites are dance classes, jazz cafes, really good affordable restaurants, and amazing gigs.
You can access one of the greatest specialised collections of material on film and television in the world. With 6,000 periodicals, 30,000 unpublished books, 30,000 pressbooks, 60,000 books and 2 million press cuttings, it is a great resource for film and media students. The School has three institution
passes you can borrow for admission to the Reading Room collections at the BFI.
