Marketing Science Research Group
The Marketing Science Research Group runs research and innovation centred around the laws of marketing as applied to new categories, countries and contexts that benefits our local and global community. We aim to foster interdisciplinary research and innovation that addresses local, national, and global challenges related to marketing, communications and the future of B2C and B2B relationships by drawing from diverse areas such as marketing, strategy, decision-making, digitalization, data science, AI and sociology of work, organisational psychology, social media, and computer science.
The Marketing Science Research Group is based at LSBU Business School, but academic members may come from a range of disciplines and departments across the University. Our work brings together academics and industry partners in various sectors within four thematic areas that research topics at a local, national, international and/or comparative level:
- Contemporary Issues in Marketing Science
- Sustainability, & Corporate Social Responsibility in Marketing Practice
- Building Engagement of the Developing World in Economic Society
- Digitalization of Communications, Artificial Intelligence & Technology
The group promotes research that addresses four main United Nation’s sustainable development goals: Industry, innovation and Infrastructure; Sustainable Cities and dDvelopment; Good Health and Wellbeing; and Gender Equality.
