Entry requirements

We accept a range of English language qualifications (PDF File 85 KB). Please contact the international office for further details.

Undergraduate Course Requirements

To apply for an undergraduate course at LSBU you need to have one of the following School and/or Post School qualifications:

  • (Pre 1990) New Zealand Scholarship with a minimum of 4
  • University Entrance Certificate with a New Zealand Bursary with a minimum score of 257
  • University Entrance Certificate with National Certificate in Educational Achievement with a minimum of Level 3 (80 credits)
  • National Certificate/Diploma Level 4
  • National Diploma Level 5
  • National Diploma Level 6 may be considered for year two entry
  • New Zealand Technician's Certificate

If you're applying with Post School qualifications your previous study must be relevant to the LSBU course you've applied for.

Postgraduate Course Requirements

To be eligible to apply for a postgraduate course at LSBU you need to hold a Bachelor Degree (Hons) with a minimum of a C+. Ordinary Bachelor Degrees, Graduate Certificates and Graduate Diplomas will be considered on an individual basis.

Visa information

As a New Zealand national you will need to obtain a student visa or equivalent to be able to study with us at LSBU. The main route for students to come to the UK to study is the student visa.
