Location is everything…

And London has it all.

Our city campus (PNG File 451 KB) has an unmistakable South London vibe and we’re well connected with a huge range of excellent tube, bus, and rail connections right on our doorstep. So whether you live nearby, are commuting across London or from further afield, you can live, learn, and thrive in our buzzing zone 1 location.

By tube

We’re just 15 minutes from central London. The Bakerloo and Northern lines stop at Elephant & Castle underground station which is next to campus, or we’re just a ten minute walk from Southwark underground station  - no one likes a long walk in the morning!

You can also use TFL’s student travel card for London Underground for around £5 a day, and you won’t need to travel every day.

By bus

There are regular buses from across London into Elephant and Castle, with most stopping right outside our campus. They include the 155, 244, 360 and C10.

The N155, N133, N343, N1, N63 are night buses which also stop outside campus – helpful after an evening study session (or let’s be honest, a night out on the town)!

By train

Trains from surrounding counties are approx. £12 and take 30 minutes, and the closest National Rail stations are walking distance to campus:

  • Elephant & Castle (5 minutes)
  • London Waterloo (10 minutes)
  • London Bridge (15 minutes)

We’re well connected with ThamesLink if you’re travelling from southern England, Southeastern Railway if you’re coming from Kent and East Sussex, and South Western Railway if you’re travelling from Surrey.

Cycle in

If you prefer to cycle we’ve got that covered too. For around £60 a year, you get access to all of TfL’s city bikes whenever you need them and we have plenty of indoor and outdoor bicycle racks on campus.

By car

The best way to get here is via public transport. Due to our city-campus location we’re unable to offer on-site parking but there are public parking options close by. If you’re using nearby parking, remember the Congestion Charge if driving through London.

The main A2 which stretches across 72 miles, links Kent to London and the A3 runs through Guildford to London.

Address (sat nav)
