As LSBU Group Executive Director and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Global) Rodney Day is responsible for LSBU’s research, innovation, enterprise and global partnership portfolio. He has leadership responsibility for the Partnership theme of the LSBU Group strategy; our national and international TNE partnerships; research, innovation and knowledge exchange; business engagement and regeneration; and IP and research commercialisation.
Rodney chairs a Pan-London Cluster of businesses, universities and public sector organisations consisting of over 200 SMEs, large businesses, universities and public sector organisations, whilst representing LSBU on the London Higher Research, and Civic Networks. He is a member of the British Council Strategic Advisory Board, and an executive committee member of the Research and Enterprise Network for Universities (RENU).
Rodney is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
