LSBU Pro Vice-Chancellor speaks on teaching and learning excellence at UUK conference

Shân Wareing, London South Bank University (LSBU)’s Pro Vice-Chancellor for
Education and Student Experience, recently addressed an audience of university
senior leaders at a conference on innovation and excellence in higher
conference, organised by Universities UK and the Higher Education Academy,

discuss how higher education institutions can create the conditions for
excellent teaching, and how to combine innovation with educational standards
and consistency in students' experience, particularly in the context of the
forthcoming Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

drive improvements rather than to fuel competition.

and architecture instigated by HEFCE's proposed changes to quality assurance in
the sector, and the Government's recent Green Paper for Higher Education.
