LSBU Psychology Professor appointed Editor-in-Chief of World Leading Addictions Journal
London South Bank University psychology Professor Marcantonio Spada is appointed Editor-in-Chief of globally renowned addictions journal, Addictive BehavioursProfessor Marcantonio Spada, London South Bank University’s (LSBU) Head of Psychology and Deputy Lead academic at the University’s Centre for Addictive Behaviours Research, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the globally renowned addictions journal, Addictive Behaviours. He takes over from Professor Peter Miller, founder of the journal and Editor-in-Chief since 1975.
Professor Ian Albery and Dr Antony Moss, from LSBU’s School of Applied Sciences, will also be joining the journal as editorial board members.
Professor Spada, who will take up the post as Editor-in-Chief from 1 January 2018, said: "It is a tremendous honour for me, and a considerable accolade for LSBU, to have been appointed Editor-in-Chief of such an influential and prestigious global addictions journal with over forty years of history of publishing seminal research in the field.”

Professor Spada obtained his PhD from the University of Manchester and has worked as an educator, researcher and clinician in the field of addictive behaviours for over 20 years.
