Prominent angel investor shares business advice with LSBU students
CEO of Europe's largest angel investor network Bill Morrow gives students funding advice at LSBU's Start & Evolve talk at the Clarence Centre for Enterprise and InnovationAngel investor and successful entrepreneur Bill Morrow gave a Start & Evolve talk on how to fund new businesses and start-ups to students, recent graduates and local entrepreneurs at London South Bank University's (LSBU) Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation.
Bill is CEO of Angels Den, the largest angel investor network in Europe, and has over 25 years' experience both starting and funding businesses. At the talk, he discussed the types of funding available to new businesses and what investors look for in a new business.
The talk was chaired by Chris Locke, Founder of Start Up Republic, who is currently running the LSBU Rocket business accelerator programme for LSBU students and graduates.
"Bill has seen thousands of business plans and pitches, and has an in depth understanding of what angels look for and the reason why certain businesses are successful and others are not in raising investment. His insights and advice are invaluable for any entrepreneurs looking to raise money to either turn their idea into a business or accelerate growth," said Chris.

The talk is part of the Start & Evolve series organised by Student Enterprise at LSBU, where established entrepreneurs from across the UK share their insights and tips for success. Attending these talks qualifies towards receiving a Certificate in Enterprise from LSBU.
