Marketing lecturers gain honorary fellowships at the University of South Australia
Dr Dag Bennett (Director of the Ehrenberg Centre for Research in Marketing) and Dr Charles Graham (Senior Lecturer in Marketing) have become Adjunct Research Fellows with the prestigious Ehrenberg-Bass Institute at the University of South AustraliaThese honorary positions formalise the continuing and close research relationship between the Ehrenberg Centre at LSBU and the Institute in Adelaide, and demonstrate the global scope of research in Marketing Science.
"We are honoured and very excited by these appointments", commented Dr Bennett. "The Fellowships bring close contacts to managers of international brands in established and emerging markets and direct access to their pressing challenges. Along with these strong ties to the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute we continue to develop evidence-based solutions to marketing problems in this era of big data."
The relationship has long been a fruitful one, and last year colleagues from the Department of Management including Dag Bennett, John Scriven, Charles Graham and Anita Peleg all contributed chapters to what is fast becoming a best-selling OUP textbook: MARKETING - Theory, Evidence, Practice (Byron Sharp, 2012).
