LSBU students Nurudeen Arasi, Adewale Salawu, Mohammed Hasan Salim and Cosmo Laing were invited by CPC Project Services to their graduate table at the annual black-tie event.
CPC is the lead sponsor of this year's dinner for more than 480 people—providing a chance for the four students to meet and mingle with execs in the transport sector. Industry leaders in attendance included Mike Brown, managing director of London Underground, and Steve Mole, managing partner of CPC.
"Being able to rub shoulders and dine with the biggest names in project management of infrastructure in London and TfL managing director Mike Brown was an opportunity I didn't want to miss," commented second-year BSc (Hons) Construction Management student Hasan Salim.
Young Rail Professionals was founded in 2009 to help new talent further careers in rail and the dinner was held in the prestigious Grand Connaught Rooms in London's Covent Garden.
