LSBU graduates remain highest earners
London South Bank University (LSBU) graduates remain the highest paid of all London modern universities for the third consecutive year.
Data from the Longitudinal Educational Outcomes (LEO) show our graduates earn more than similar universities in London, one year, three years and five years after leaving LSBU.
The findings are based on the 2022/2023 tax year and reflect average earnings.
At a national level, four of our subject areas impressively ranked in the top ten across the Higher Education sector.
- LSBU medical science graduates were top earners in the UK, earning more on average than their peers from any other university
- Architecture graduates were the second top earners in the UK
- Health and Social Care ranked fourth for their earnings
- Nursing and Midwifery graduates were eighth in the UK.
Additionally, a quarter earn over £38,300 a year after graduation.
Professor Tony Moss, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Education and Student Experience, said: “We’re pleased to see that LSBU graduates continue to enjoy sustained career success. We design our courses with employability in mind. Our students get to work on live briefs, simulation exercises, and gain experience with local, national and international organisations, giving them the relevant skills employers are seeking.
“Along with a range of support available from our careers team, our students are set up to succeed before they graduate.”
