LSBU alumni, Honorary Graduates and Court members among those on 2015 New Year Honours list

Honorary Graduate Ms Esther Louise Rantzen CBE was awarded Dame Commander of the British Empire for services to children and older people through ChildLine and the Silver Line.
LSBU Court member Prof. Eileen Sills CBE, Chief Nurse and Director of Patient Experience at Guy's and St. Thomas's NHS Foundation Trust, was awarded the same for services to nursing.
Former Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ruth Sarah Farwell was awarded Commanders of the Order of the British Empire for services to higher education.
Honorary Graduate Ms Judith Pamela Kelly OBE, Artistic Director at the SouthbankCentre, was awarded the same for services to the arts.
Honorary Graduate and LSBU alumnus Prof. Peter Wynne Rees, Lately City Planning Officer for City of London Corporation, was also awarded Commander of the British Empire for services to architecture and town planning.
Medal of the Order of the British Empire was awarded to LSBU alumna Ms Effat Rahimi-Kaloujehsims, Operational Manager (Inclusion) for Westminster Academy, for services to education.
