International Office hosts fourth Chinese Partnership Workshop in Beijing
As part of London South Bank University's (LSBU) 120th anniversary celebrations, LSBU's International Office (Asia Pacific region) recently hosted its fourth Chinese Partnership Workshop in Beijing.Following successful events in China in 2004, 2008 and 2010, the Chinese Partnership Workshop is continuing to provide the University's Chinese partners with a greater understanding of LSBU's unique selling points.
Nearly forty representatives attended this unique networking opportunity. Delegates received information about new areas of collaboration, and exchanged advice and guidance about LSBU's joint programmes.
The workshop was as much about welcoming new partners as strengthening working relations with established ones. LSBU's International Office finds its partners in different ways, and students on LSBU's joint programme are sometimes sourced from these partner institutions.
International Officer Tingting Pei said: "We welcome more than 50 students to LSBU from our partner institutions each year, which is already some achievement, and this workshop was a great success."
