London South Bank University (LSBU) has a national reputation as a leader in NHS support staff education and deservedly so. The Institute is unique in the UK in providing a single focus for the development of learning programmes for support staff, strategic and policy work and research. Delivering high quality, safe and cost effective health and social care will require investment in the whole workforce including the expansion of higher level clinical and other support roles.
I am looking forward to working with the other members of the Institute, Faculty and it's partners to deliver this agenda and build on LSBU's achievements."
Outside of work Richard, despite being born in Berkshire, follows rugby league, enjoys growing his own fruit and vegetables and listening to loud music.
