LSBU's Academy of Sport present this workshop aimed to increase awareness around the importance of wellbeing associated by taking part in sport and physical activity. Being active can have a good impact on psychological and behavioural factors that will benefit wellbeing, mind and body.
This workshop will be delivered by Clarissa Ulcigrai, who gained a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from Plymouth Marjon University. Her area of study covered key contemporary topics such as mental health and abuse in sport. Clarissa worked with a variety of student athletes during her research. She analysed these athletes and monitored levels of stress, anxiety and burnout with astonishing results.
