The Built Environment and Architecture

The School of the Built Environment and Architecture looks forward to welcoming you on campus. We take pride in keeping up with industry standards through providing quality teaching facilities, but our student community safety is paramount. We will constantly be adapting to the situation around us, and include extensive online resources for our students should they be needed.

You should expect to be on campus for around two hours per week for optional bookable sessions. This will be to focus on small-group,  one to one support sessions. Our lectures and tutorials will be delivered flexibly online and we are making sure that all students will have the opportunity for the same interactive experience as campus-based lectures. We will be teaching you through interactive platforms, such as Moodle, MS Teams and Panopto.

We have designed our courses to be flexible and supportive. If the ongoing coronavirus situation means that you can’t make it to campus, we can move quickly between online and face-to-face delivery if required. We continue to follow Government guidelines and are monitoring the situation closely. When and where possible, we will seek to increase levels of face-to-face delivery, as it becomes safe to do so.
