At London South Bank University we aim to provide students with the best support while they are studying with us. Our support network now includes Gender support, with a team of Gender Support Contacts who are here to offer support around concerns relating to Gender Identity.
A Gender Support Contact is a member of staff who is available to talk with students who would like to discuss any concerns relating to Gender Identity, including questioning and exploring your gender. Our Gender Identity Contacts can discuss topics that are important to you now, and look ahead to topics that may become important in the future – this could be communicating changes with friends, family, other students, staff members, and the wider University (including any possible changes to your student record). A Gender Identity Contact is available to offer advice, support and guidance, and may direct you to other services, both internal and external.
