I thoroughly enjoyed my voluntary hours at Crampton Primary School. Helping to organise and participate in different activities with the children brought back all the great memories and fun times from my days at primary school. This volunteering experience has allowed me to demonstrate and further develop my leadership skills and creativity as I was able to lead many of the activities myself and I had to constantly think of new games to play in order to keep the children engaged.
Seon Kabia, 2nd Year Accounting and Finance Student
In 2019 a group of 7 Sports Ambassadors volunteered on a Sports and Education programme in rural Malawi, Nkope Village, in partnership with Naturally Africa Volunteers.
Going on this trip was a great experience and can help people to boost their profession. You learn a lot on the trip and there is always something new to learn that will make a change in your life. I went on the trip as a sports coach, I returned as a coach, aspiring teacher, aspiring baker, aspiring first aider, aspiring motivational speaker, and more. The journey began the day I signed up for the trip and it will never end.
