International volunteering

Join the LSBU Sports Ambassador in 2021 for an incredible opportunity to volunteer on a Sports and Education programme in rural Malawi, Nkope Village, in partnership with Naturally Africa Volunteers.

Check our Naturally Africa Volunteers website and the LSBU 2019 project report for more information on the project.

When: Sunday 6 June 2021 for 2.5 weeks

Requirements: Current Sports Ambassador contract; fundraise £1500 by April 2021 for project contribution; DBS, safeguarding and coaching certificates (can all be gained through the Sports Ambassador Scheme); attendance of Malawi training sessions.

Going on this trip was a great experience and can help people to boost their profession. You learn a lot on the trip and there is always something new to learn that will make a change in your life. I went on the trip as a sports coach, I returned as a coach, aspiring teacher, aspiring baker, aspiring first aider, aspiring motivational speaker, and more. The journey began the day I signed up for the trip and it will never end.

Training and development
