LSBU Moves is an app which rewards students and staff for being active. By connecting your activity tracker, LSBU Moves will convert your running, walking, swimming and cycling into points which you can then spend on rewards listed within the app.

This is more than an activity tracker. There are weekly challenges to face and opportunities to compete with your fellow flat mates, course friends and teammates.

Why doesn't my activity match up on LSBU Moves?
Activity trackers may record your activity levels differently from time to time. This is because trackers are operated by a third-party provider for which The Academy of Sport have no control and therefore accept no liability for any discrepancies.
Email Moves@lsbu.ac.uk with any issue and we will try to help
Why can't I join two step challenges at the same time?
You are limited to one challenge per activity type at any one time. This means you are unable to enter two step challenges that run during the same timeframe. However, you can enter a step challenge alongside a cycling or running challenge, as these are different activity types.
What if I am not living local to campus, can I still use the app?
Yes! LSBU Moves can be used all over the world if it is connected to your chosen activity tracker.
The family feel of LSBU is something that we want to establish through LSBU Moves. With the ability to join groups and challenges or create private groups with friends, even if you are not always on campus you can still get the same experience as those that are.
What types of activity can I track?
Walking, Running, Cycling and Swimming.
Tell me more about Donate to LSBU In Africa Project and where my points go?
If you would like to use the points you have earned to improve the lives of others then you can support our student-led volunteering projects in Malawi in partnership with Naturally Africa Volunteers
Your donation will make a huge difference to the lives of the child and their communities in Nkope village and Kalenjeka and Nakundu primary schools. A single donation on LSBU Moves goes towards providing a gift of a sports kit pack and school essentials to these partner schools, a lifeline in developing the children’s lives.
