Information Systems and Management

The focus of this research is to consolidate high-quality research in computing-related topics and themes

The centre conducts research related to the use and management of Information & Digital Technologies and Information Management in complex organisations.

Its aims are to:

  • foster a supportive and stimulating research environment
  • enable staff to undertake research and realise their potential
  • support research students to get a valued and beneficial research training
  • promote research activities and enhance them through research collaboration, and knowledge and technology transfer

The centre constitutes a multidisciplinary approach to studying a range of social, economic and technological issues. It focuses on the application of novel technologies and innovative business models to enable organisations to embrace new technologies and work practices.

We collaborate closely with industry and academia locally and internationally. We have been successful in securing EU funding and have successfully collaborated on many knowledge transfer projects with industry, as well as collaborations through joint research supervision.
