- The Solicitors Regulation Authority is the independent regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales. Our purpose is to protect the public by ensuring that solicitors meet high standards.
- The Bar Standards Board regulates barristers called to the Bar in England and Wales in the public interest. The Bar Council provides representation, support and services for barristers in England and Wales.
- The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) is the professional body representing over 20,000 trainees and practising Legal Executives and is recognised by the Ministry of Justice as one of the three core routes to becoming a qualified lawyer. Students who successfully complete the Criminal Litigation and Civil Litigation module options (on the LLB) are entitled to join CILEx and start practising as a Legal Executive or Paralegal on graduation.

- The Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH) is the UK's leading professional awarding body for qualifications in the specialist growing commercial sector worldwide.

The quality of our Education courses is confirmed by recognition from the Higher Education Funding Council for England, the National College for Teaching & Leadership (NCTL) and by the outcomes of our OFSTED inspection.
In its 2014 inspection report (PDF File 208 KB) on our Initial Teacher Education (ITE) courses, Ofsted awarded Education 'Good' across all strands of Initial Teacher Education for Primary trainees.
