Steve a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. He has worked in Higher Education for over 20 years, teaching a wide variety of subjects across the Accounting and Finance syllabus. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and holds a degree in Business Law.
Other than teaching, Steve's experience includes public practice – accounting, auditing and tax – and commercial experience within the Financial Services sector.
Steve conducts a wide range of teaching across Master's, Professional, Bachelor's, HND and Foundation programmes. Presently, he teaches Financial Accounting and Business and Company Law. He has experience of teaching and leading in Management Accounting, Corporate Governance and Tax.
Although interested in Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation, Steve has not published - his role and interests have been focused on front-line teaching.
Steve is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Steve has experience as an External Examiner at other universities, and as both an Examiner and Reviewer for a professional body.
