Soran AminiAghdam

Research Fellow


Dr Soran AminiAghdam is a Research Fellow in the Department of Sport and Exercise Science Research Centre, School of Applied Sciences. He specialises in Movement Science with interests in interactions between gait and posture in human bipedal locomotion. Following completion of his doctoral qualifications at the Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena in 2018, he spent a year working with the Bayreuth Medical Center in Bayreuth, Germany before joining to LSBU in 2019, where he had pursued a postdoctoral research. Soran acts as a scientific liaison point between LSBU and London's finest medical and health facility, namely Lanserhof at The Arts Club under supervision of Prof Kiros Karamanidis.
