Dr Oluwadamilola “Dami” Aguda is a senior lecturer in the division of Construction, Property and Surveying in the School of the Built Environment and Architecture. He specialises in different areas of real estate discipline such as the economics of the property market, property investment and valuation, property development and appraisal and real estate management.

Dami began his career at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh where he worked as a doctoral researcher and teaching assistant in real estate from 2014-2018. In 2017, he also worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Glasgow. He was awarded a PhD in Urban Studies from Heriot-Watt University. His doctoral research was on the influence of socio-psychological factors on housing tenure decisions among British young adults. He moved to London in 2018 where he was appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Real Estate at London South Bank University.

Dami has wide ranging teaching experience in different areas of real estate. Currently, he teaches Economic context in the built environment; European construction and property; Project evaluation; Research paper; and Real estate construction and planning. His students are spread across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
