Nancy Olaniyan is a lecturer in the Department of Urban Environment and Leisure, School of Law and Social Science. An experienced hospitality and tourism professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the service industry. Her industrial experience includes working for the Crowne Plaza London St James Hotel in a variety of operational management positions within the hotel for 11 years. She was also a General Manager of Watercress Hotel, Nigerian. Nancy also owned and operated the Delish Restaurant and Tru- Smoothies Bar. Nancy then worked at College’s in further education for two years before moving to London South Bank University.
Nancy possess a professional teaching qualification from Greenwich University (2017), before returning to LSBU in 2019, where she had originally studied both her BA Hospitality and Tourism degree and Masters in Business Administration qualifications.
Nancy teaches across both tourism, hospitality and events undergraduate degree programmes. Subject areas include Fundamentals of Hospitality. Professional Development and Business Development Management.
