James Ganpatsingh has had a varied career in social care and social work for over 20 years, and is currently a Senior Lecturer in Social Work and Course Director for the MA Social Work programme at LSBU. James’ expertise is in work with children and families, and he has spent over 5 years in education following a varied career in practice in the voluntary and statutory sectors.
James is an experienced lecturer, and holds a post graduate certificate in academic practice. James has led modules across both BA and MA programmes, and currently leads and teaches on two MA modules (Methods and theories, and Social work with children, young people and families). James enjoys supporting teaching and learning in his various roles as a lecturer, personal tutor, supervisor for students writing their social work dissertations, and as Course Director for the MA programme.
James is a peer reviewer for the British Journal of Social Work and the International Journal of Social Pedagogy.
