Colin Ramage is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Adult Nursing and has worked at LSBU since September 2016. He specialises in teaching clinical skills, evidence-based practice and is a qualified ILS instructor (accredited by the British Resus Council). He has been a registered nurse since 2003 and spent his clinical career as a cardiothoracic nurse at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. His interest in supporting students led him to a post a post as placement development facilitator in the Trust’s Clinical Education Team before embarking on an academic career.
Colin is involved in teaching a variety of subjects on the pre-registration nursing curriculum.
He is also an ILS trainer and an accredited Sage & Thyme facilitator.
Colin has an interest in social media and student nurses interaction and engagement with such platforms.
