Associate Professor, Course Director LLM International Commercial Law

Chris is currently an Associate Professor and the Course Director of the LLM in International Commercial Law. He has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of this programme and is a member of the Law Division Senior Management Team.
His teaching and research interests lie in the fields of contract and company law and he is the co-author of Key Facts and Key Cases in Company Law, published by Routledge in 2015.
Before coming to LSBU, Chris held posts at Bournemouth University and Coventry University. He has also taught at Brunel University, the Open University and Barings Bank, the oldest bank in the City of London.
Chris teaches and examines across the range of LLB programmes. He is currently the module leader and examiner for the foundation subjects in Introduction to Contract & Tort and Contract Law and also offers a final year option in Company Law. On the LLM International Commercial Law he teaches International Sale of Goods.
He is also a dissertation supervisor and a personal tutor.
Chris has published in the field of company and commercial law and is the co-author of Key Facts and Key Cases in Company Law, published by Routledge in 2015.

Chris has been an external examiner for a number of universities and is currently an external examiner at Huddersfield University.
He is also the former Chief Examiner in Corporate Law for the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
