LSBU shortlisted for two PQ awardsLondon South Bank University (LSBU) has been shortlisted for two categories in the annual PQ Magazine Awards for excellence in its Accounting and Finance teaching provision.
The University is nominated in the 'Public Sector Provider' category for its outstanding Accounting and Finance teaching provision and Joe Adomako, Senior Lecturer in Financial Reporting, has been shortlisted for 'Public Sector Lecturer of the Year'.
Every year PQ Magazine, a key industry publication for accounting students, holds an annual awards night rewarding the best and the greatest in the accountancy world.
Sarah-Moore Williams, Director of Studies ACCA Professional Accountancy Course at the University, said: "Being shortlisted for the Public Sector Provider award, as well as Public Sector Lecturer of the Year award, is the industry's acknowledgement of the excellence in the accounting and finance teaching provision at LSBU.
"We are incredibly proud to be honoured by fellow industry professionals and it is to the credit of the whole teaching team and all the support staff involved in our programmes that we have got this far in the award process."
