The database benefits from the structure of ACR codes. Its ten sections are named for anatomical subdivisions. The coding system allows the information to be viewed as different pathologies affecting a particular anatomic location or permits review of a particular pathology. Each pathology document is designed to hold those cases listed under that region or anatomical system where most of the case examples lie. The discussion is limited and is not intended to substitute for any serious consideration of the pathology. The individual images speak for themselves. I have deliberately limited the differential diagnosis lists to cases in this collection. Important omissions in the case collection are indicated, where I remember them. There is no way that I can compete with Wolfgang Dähnert's "Radiology Review Manual", Williams and Wilkins or Bergemer and Kormano's "Differential Diagnosis in Conventional Radiology", Thieme-Stratton |
