Work with the community

With our main campus set in the central London borough of Southwark, London South Bank University (LSBU) is at the heart of a vibrant community. Our Lifelong Learning and Community Engagement Team works with a wide range of public, voluntary and community organisations to promote education and wellbeing.

Through our work with local people and organisations we build stronger and more cohesive communities. We're always happy to hear from you if you're a local organisations who would like to discuss events and projects.

Our work includes:

• promoting education and training opportunities through our local lifelong learning partnership, SELLLN
• producing our community newsletter, Communiversity, three times a year
• visiting community and voluntary organisations
• involving LSBU staff and students in community events
• supporting national campaigns such as Family Learners’ Month, Adult Learners’ Week and Black History Month
• Hosting seminars and events at LSBU
