London's Southbank at night

At our Urban, Environment and Leisure Studies Taster Day, you'll get a real taste of a subject you are interested in studying at university as well as the undergraduate experience at LSBU

If you are currently studying your A Level, Access to HE Diploma or BTEC in Geography or Tourism Studies, or related subject and are interested in studying Human Geography, Planning, Housing, Tourism and Hospitality, Events and Entertainment or a related course at university, then we would love to see you at our Taster Day!

The undergraduate courses we offer in the Urban, Environment and Leisure Studies division, within the School of Law and Social Sciences, are ideal if you wish to develop a rich understanding of how human activity shapes, and is shaped by, shifting relationships between people and places all around the world. LSBU is based in a central London location that is rapidly evolving, so by joining us you will be uniquely well placed to witness first-hand the processes that are key to determining whether London continues to be a global city that people will still want to – and are able to – visit, live, work and play in.

Come along to our Urban, Environment and Leisure Studies Taster Day and enjoy sample lectures by academics who are experts in their area of study, gain insights into how they draw on the rapidly changing neighbourhood in which they are based for research and teaching, and attend a walking tour and workshop that will reveal the central role that culture has played, and is continuing to play, in helping the South Bank position itself as one of the capital’s most distinctive, diverse and fascinating areas.

Booking is essential so please register today to confirm your attendance.
