  • how you'll be assessed

The event also offers an opportunity to meet some of the key lecturers who will be delivering the course, as well as provide a chance for you to ask any questions.

Refreshments will be provided.

Why study a PGCE?

This programme leads to Qualified Teacher Status. It equips you to teach pupils from 5-11 years and covers all areas of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum, through lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials. You'll gain 60 Masters level credits and be awarded with a Postgraduate Certificate of Education.

The great thing about this PGCE course is that you will undertake placements in at least two schools, providing you with the opportunity to apply what you’ve learnt. We’ve got some great facilities too, such as a custom-built classroom.

We have a number of recent graduates who we’ve featured as case studies. Why not read about Louise or Cath’s experiences?

For more information, please take a look at the PGCE course page.
